Fun was had by ALL on Saturday, July 8th as we celebrated our first annual June Bug Jubilee! With over 25 vendors exhibiting various arts & crafts, apparel, jewelry, children’s pottery, natural soaps, oils and more, over 250 people circulated through the block of entertainment while live music filled the air. Children were all giggles as they enjoyed face painting, an arts table, and a special visit from Moana (THE Hawaiian Princess).
Thank you to the incredible sponsors, vendors, and guests who made the event such a success!
Nope! It is never too early to start planning for an event as special as a Christmas Parade. Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 9th at 10:00 a.m.. We will be inviting schools, groups, civic organizations from the Flora and Madison County area to be a part of this exciting day for our community members and merchants. For more information please contact Casey Holcomb at email@example.com.
Thank you to all who came out to support our Law Enforcement, First Responders and Public Works division this week! From the snack baskets donated by Runnels Insurance, Cross Fit Flora, Love AO/ Oliver & Company, and Tracy Ward Architect to the Cookies/Juice that were donated by Ramey’s Grocery…… I think those that serve our community know that the Town of Flora truly appreciates their commitment and dedication.
Thank you to Clinton Body Shop and Holcomb Aerial Service for the perfect fly-over in missing man formation that put an exclamation point on our memorial honoring all those that have and actively risk their lives serving and protecting us! Thank you Stanley Simpson (Bank Plus) and Bro. Scott Carter (Flora United Methodist Church) for setting the stage in prayer and a beautiful trumpet tribute.
Thank you Keep Mississippi Beautiful for loving our town so much to help in creating our beautiful Elise G Anderson Walking Trail!
